Day 1 – Arrival
at Siliguri and transfer to Lataguri – 65 Km/1.5 Hrs
Meet and greet at Siliguri and proceed to Lataguri, located near the Gorumara National Park, is a quaint settlement in Jalpaiguri District. Blessed with rich flora and fauna, Gorumara is a mid-sized park in Dooars famous for its vast population of One-Horned Rhinoceros. Check into your hotel and freshen up and take a jungle safari in the afternoon around 3.30 pm. Overnight Stay in Lataguri.
DAY 02– Full Day Sightseeing to Samsing, Sultanikhola,
Jhalong, Bindu, and Rockey Island
Samsing is a quaint village situated on the banks of River Murti.
Bounded by lush tea garden, after admiring the beautiful tea garden in Samsing
we will head to Suntalekhola. Best known as the base for exploring Neora
Valley, Suntalekhola is another
offbeat destination of Dooars. Next, drive to Rocky Island, adventurer's hub in Dooars.
Jhallong, With an approx. the distance of 25km from Rocky Island, it is
an overall journey of 1 hour to reach Jhalong. Located along the Indo-Bhutan
border, Jhalong is known for its Hydro Electricity Project build on the River
Jaldhaka. The dam is also used as a bridge by the people from Bhutan during
the weekly market. Now we will drive you towards Jaldhaka Valley. Jaldhaka is a
scenic river valley sprawled on the periphery of Neora Valley National Park.
Bindu the last hamlet of West Bengal. Here you can witness
the impeccable view. Overnight Stay in

Day 3 – Lataguri to
Jaldapara – 80 km/2 Hrs
With an approx. The distance of 80km it is an overall 2hrs journey to reach Jaldapara from
Lataguri. Jaldapara is a national park of Dooars famous for its vast collection
of Avifauna and housing the 2nd largest number of One-Horned Rhinoceros.
South Khayerbari, Located
at a distance of 18km, you will reach South Khayerbari after a 30 mins drive.
You can observe the rescued animals at South Khayerbari while taking a tour in
the battery-operated cars.Overnight stay in
Jaldapara.
DAY 04 - Jaldapara Elephant Safari and visit to coochbihar
In the early
morning, take a famous Jaldapara Jungle Safari, on an elephant, the most sought after
activity in the Dooars tour. The Elephant will enter into the deep forest crossing
several streams and finally reach on the vast grass on river Torsha bed, where generally
Rhinos reside.
After breakfast, we
will drive you to Coochbihar, the only planned city of North Bengal, which still
holds the remnants of its royal past. The drive is nearly 2 hrs over a distance
of approx. 80 km Via Alipurduar Road. The Rajbari or the Coochbehar Palace is
the most prominent attraction of this historic city. Madan Mohan Temple is
another favored attraction of Coochbehar. The magnificent architecture of
these ancient buildings will woo your heart. This princely town has many natural
water bodies like Rasikbill which attracts migratory birds from Central Asia
and Ladakh during the winter season. After lunch and sightseeing in Coochbehar,
return to your resort in Jaldapara.

DAY 05 – Jaldapara to Jayanti – 80 Km/2 Hrs
After an early morning breakfast, check out from your resort and drive to Jayanti. With an approx. The distance of 80km it is an overall 2hrs journey to reach Jayanti from Jaldapara. You will explore some sightseeing places of Jayanti. Start your local sightseeing with Buxa Fort. This antiquated place is famous for its historical importance. After relishing the beauty of Buxa Fort, you will be driven to Pokhri Hill. Resided at a distance of 4 km from Jayanti, they engulf it with dense forests. Here you can trek through the dense forest, relish the magnificent beauty of nature, hear the chirping of many melodious birds. Visit the sacred Pokhri hill full of turtles and Magur fish. Visit TGNM watch Tower, just 3 km away from Jayanti. Covered by lush green forest, the view of the surrounding places is astonishing. From the top of the watchtower, Buxa Tiger Reserve looks spectacular and if you fall under the lucky ones, you can point out some wild animals like tiger, deer, leopards, etc. Lastly, visit Mahakal Cave of Jayanti. Located near the banks of River Jayanti, Mahakal Cave is a famous religious site in Dooars. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Mahakal Cave of Jayanti is a beautiful cave made of stalagmite. Return to the resort after relishing the beautiful sights of Buxa and Jayanti. Overnight stay at Jayanti.
Day 06 – Check out to Transfer to NJP/IXB
Post Breakfast,
explore the Jayanti village on feet, and mingle with the local villagers to
understand the typical village life of North Bengal.
At around 11 am,
start from Jayanti towards NJP/IXB around 180 km drive and reach Siliguri in 4
hrs of time. Your Dooars trip ends with sweet memory and cherish forever.
