The Sela Pass is in Tawang District of Arunachal Pradesh which is known for its high alttitude and snow capped moutains. It connects the Tawang Town which is a Buddhists city to Tezpur and Guwahati and is known as the main road connecting Tawang with the rest of India.  It snows this place in most of the year and offers excellent and heavenly views all year round. This part of the Eastern Himalayan range is pretty special for the Buddhists, as we believe it that about 101 lakes exist in and around Sela pass. 

Tawang Monastery

Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh has attracted a lot of attention since they conferred it with the cleanest district title in the region. Tawang Monastery is known as the largest monastery in India. They found it near the small town of the same name in the northwestern part of Arunachal Pradesh state of India by Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso. The monastery is at a height of about 3,300 meters in the district capital, Tawang Town. 

Beauty of Bomdila

The headquarters of West Kameng district is Bomdila and it is a beautiful small town at a height of about 8000 ft. and from where you can see the amazing landscape and snow-clad hills of the Himalayan Range with lush green beauty. 

Gorichen Peak

Once you are in Gorichean Peak, opt for hiking which is one of the most famous activities in Tawang. Gori Chen is a high rock and ice peak and the most western and most easily accessed off the main Arunachal peaks with an elevation of 6,488 metres 21,286ft.
